This is Home

This piece is a tribute to my roots — to a land that feels like home: Honduras. Woven into every stroke are the unbreakable threads of culture, passion, and memory that echo through my soul.

It was inspired by the vibrant spirit of my ancestors and the enduring pride of my father, Juan Manuel Posse — cultural liaison, dreamer, and guardian of heritage — who devoted his life to honoring the stories of our people.

This flag is more than a national emblem. It is a heartbeat, a breath, a living rhythm of identity pulsing through generations.

The five stars whisper of unity and hope among nations once bound together. The blue bands carry the spirit of our skies and the seas that surround us. The white holds the quiet strength of peace and resilience.

With layered bold strokes of acrylic and mixed media, I've blended the soul of tradition with the energy of modern expression — a visual echo of how our past continues to shape our present.

This is more than art. This is home.
